Introducing the latest high-performance hypercar: the Nilu27 NILU. Designed by Sasha Selipanov, known for his work on cars like the Bugatti Chiron and Koenigsegg CC850, this vehicle features a 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that revs up to 11,000 rpm, paired with a traditional manual gearbox.
Selipanov, having previously worked on notable designs, has launched his own brand, Nilu27. The company’s debut model is the Nilu27 NILU. This hypercar is inspired by a range of influences, from classic American muscle cars to modern drift vehicles.
The NILU boasts a custom carbon fiber monocoque chassis with tubular aluminum subframes, double wishbone suspension, pushrod suspension, and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes. It also features gullwing doors, akin to the Aston Martin Valkyrie, offering easy access to its fixed-seat, minimalistic cabin. The interior includes analogue dials and a single display screen for the rear-view camera.
The exposed V12 engine, developed in partnership with Hartley Engines of New Zealand, produces a claimed 1,055 bhp and 860 Nm of torque. This engine includes 12 individual throttle bodies and a hot-V configuration to optimize heat management and packaging. The exhaust system features “snakepit” headers and a tri-tip exhaust pipe. The manual transmission is housed in a ceramic-coated aluminum subframe.
Initially, 15 track-only models of the NILU will be produced, followed by 54 street-legal versions. The car will be unveiled at Pebble Beach during Monterey Car Week.
