The Pininfarina Battista is renowned for its exceptional performance and striking design. To complement its bold attributes, the hypercar brand has created a series of bespoke Batman-themed models. Announced in May, these unique cars will be showcased in person at Monterey Car Week 2024, including the Pininfarina Battista B95 Gotham, which has been specially crafted for a Batman enthusiast.
The B95 Gotham is a variant of the limited-edition B95 Barchetta, unveiled at last year’s Monterey Car Week. It completes Pininfarina’s collection of four Batman-inspired vehicles, which also includes the Battista Gotham, B95 Dark Knight, and Battista Dark Knight. Each car reflects different facets of Bruce Wayne’s character, according to Pininfarina. All four models will be displayed at Monterey Car Week on Friday, August 16.
Distinctive features of the B95 Gotham include its exclusive Argento Vittorio gloss paint, gloss black mirror caps, black exterior detailing, and rear domes in tan leather embossed with the ‘Wayne Enterprises’ logo. The wheels are custom-designed with a matte black finish for the inner rings and gloss black for the outer rings.
Inside, the B95 Gotham continues the theme with more tan leather and a bespoke “Wayne Enterprises HMI display” for the screens. Additionally, the car includes a voice assistant inspired by Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne’s butler, though there’s no indication whether the voice of Michael Caine was used.
The B95 Gotham maintains the performance specs of the standard B95, featuring a 120 kWh battery arranged in a ‘T’ shape to keep the body low. It delivers 1,873 bhp and 2,340 Nm of torque through four electric motors, achieving 0-62 mph in under two seconds. While its top speed is 186 mph, lower than the Battista coupe’s 217 mph, this is practical given the B95’s design, which includes only two small visors for occupants, making full-face helmets advisable.
