The new Range Rover Sport SV is already one of the most high-performance SUVs available, and the introduction of the ‘Edition Two’ aims to enhance its distinctiveness.
Building on the Edition One, the SV Edition Two adds new customization options, including additional paint colors. While the Edition One offered matte-finish bronze, metallic silver, and obsidian black, the Edition Two introduces Blue Nebula Matte, Marl Grey Gloss, Sunrise Copper Satin, and Ligurian Black Gloss.
Each new paint option is paired with specific themes. Blue Nebula Matte comes with a satin carbon-fiber exterior package, a painted carbon-fiber bonnet, and 23-inch black forged wheels, while the performance seats are finished in ‘light cloud’ and ebony Windsor leather.
Marl Grey Gloss features a gloss carbon-twill exterior package, 23-inch gloss carbon wheels, and brake calipers in ‘sunrise copper’. The interior is finished in ‘rosewood and ebony’ leather.
The third customization option features a Sunrise Copper Satin finish, paired with a satin carbon-twill exterior package and red brake calipers. The interior includes ebony Windsor leather. The fourth option, Ligurian Black Gloss, combines a satin carbon-twill exterior with exposed carbon fiber on the bonnet, 23-inch carbon gloss wheels, yellow brake calipers, and an ebony interior with knit and Range Rover’s ‘Ultrafabrics’ upholstery.
As the flagship Range Rover Sport, the SV Edition Two typically comes with large 23-inch alloy wheels, but 22-inch diamond-cut wheels with a satin-grey contrast are also available. Buyers can choose from various brake caliper colors, and the roof can be specified to match the body color. The performance seats feature backs that can match the exterior color and include Range Rover’s ‘Body and Soul Seats’ technology, integrating speakers into the seats.
The Edition Two uses the same 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine as the Edition One, delivering 626bhp and 750Nm of torque. However, it benefits from new Michelin Pilot Sport 5 S tyres, which improve cornering performance with a 0.1G increase in lateral grip compared to the standard all-season tyres.
Pricing for the SV Edition Two has not yet been announced, but it is expected to start at least at £171,460, potentially higher than the Edition One.
